Personally speaking, I believe a hundred years is a long time for someone to come back to the world of the living, and no matter how close someone was to me, I could not imagine pulling them back after such a time.
But, I am not you. Yet, if you believe that there is a likely chance he would not be happy...then there is no sense in inviting that potential pain upon the both of you.
